County, Arkansas. He, his widowed mother
Cynthia Tackitt, his oldest brother
Pleasant Tackitt, his oldest sister Eloah
Angeline (Tackitt) Jones, and 4 of his 5 other siblings died in
the Mountain Meadows Massacre. Marion Tackitt was 20 years old when he
died.
